The nurse must remain neutral and not steer the patient’s feelings, especially when personal biases are involved.

This is a violation of professional ethical standards. Attempting to influence a patient's medical decision based on the nurse's personal religious convictions is coercive and constitutes a breach of the nursing code of ethics, which mandates that the nurse must not impose personal values on the client.
