Who is Eligible to Take the Maternal Newborn Exam 3 Rasmussen
To qualify for the RNC-MNN certification, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Hold a valid and unrestricted RN license in either the U.S. or Canada.
Possess a minimum of 24 months of specialized experience as an RN in the U.S. or Canada, with at least 2000 hours dedicated to direct patient care, administration, education, or research.
Have been employed in the maternal newborn nursing specialty during the last 24 months.
When taking the computer-based exam, you pay a $325 fee, including a non-refundable $50 application fee. The Applications are open year-round, and it takes approximately two weeks to process, review, and approve.

After approval, you'll receive an eligibility letter to schedule the MNN exam within a 90-day window. The exam is administered by PSI/AMP at 100+ locations, Monday to Saturday at 9 am or 1:30 pm. What Maternal Newborn Nursing Exam covers?
The MNN exam comprises 175 multiple-choice test questions. Among these, 150 questions are scored, while the remaining 25 serve as unidentified pre-test questions and are not counted toward your score. You'll have three hours to complete the exam.
