What Is on HESI Math Practice Test?
You will be tested on basic math skills on the HESI math test. The following are the areas you will be tested on:

How Many Questions Are on the HESI Math Test?
One of the sections you will have to complete and pass before you become a professional nurse is the HESI math test section. Mathematical skills are essential in any nursing program as they will come in handy when taking vital measurements and dosing medication.
The HESI math test section lasts 50 minutes, and you must answer 55 questions. However, five questions are always unmarked and will never be part of the test. Unfortunately, the students will never be able to tell which questions are unscored. The unscored questions are pilot questions being evaluated for suitability and use in future assessments. It means you will need to spend less than one minute to answer all the questions in the HESI math test section. Every question will have a multiple-choice option as answers. You will always have the opportunity to check your answers if needed when you are through with answering all the questions.
What is Good Score for HESI Math Test?
Each section will always have separate scores. There will be a composite score which will make up for all the sections on overall. With this in mind, it is advisable that you strive at scoring between 80% and 89 %. 90+% score will be outstanding.
